I’m in my third year as a realtor, and I can honestly say: I didn’t get here in a straight line.

Some people arrive exactly where they’re meant to be early in life. That wasn’t me.

Back in Brazil, I loved being a copywriter at an advertising agency. When I moved to the U.S., I thought the obvious next step was to keep walking that same path — just in a different language. So I earned my Master’s at Drake and tried to recreate the career I once had… as if life worked that way.

It doesn’t.

I found full-time jobs. On paper, everything looked right. But it wasn’t the same — because I wasn’t the same. Growth changes you. Moving countries changes you. Starting over changes you.

And that quiet discomfort? It led me here.

Real estate.

Now, no two days are alike. One phone call might take me to a charming home in a familiar neighborhood. Another might send me driving out to a property surrounded by cornfields and open sky. You truly never know — and that’s exactly what I love about it.

What I love even more is being there when someone walks into a house and can suddenly see their life happening there. When a space shifts from “a property” to “my home.”

I believe the process doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. We can make it light. We can make it clear. There’s no question we can’t answer together.

So if you see me at the door of a listing, iPad in hand, greeting clients with a smile — just know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
